Last week, we went through sprint. Sprint is a part of the Startup Studio at Cornell Tech, in which we are encouraged to get to the next stage in our startup journey. In our case, the next step is experimentation.

Here are important takeaways from this sprint. First, determining the risk with the highest impact and uncertainty to experiment on may not always be a straightforward process. People perceive risks differently, even more so when your team is still figuring out the target market for your startup.

Second, experimentation has its own nuances too. Deciding on what the experiment is usually takes a lot of brainstorming, and creativity too. Another challenge is designing the experiment. One cannot just devise an experiment without considering the parameter and results we want to find. If the experiment requires some coding and building, it may take time too.

Nevertheless, the process is worth experiencing. So much to learn from the process and experiment. The results may surprise you. And don’t forget, presenting the finding is another source of excitement.
